The Pittsburgh Marathon returned last year, with record participation. The 10,500 registrants for the 26.2-mile marathon, 13.1-mile half-marathon and marathon relay easily surpassed the previous record of 6,419 in 2003. With 3,000 runners left on a waiting list last year, organizers felt confident that this year's race would grow, and they closed registration when it hit 16,000.

The race is a 26.2 mile race, which is ran on the 1st Sunday of every May in Cincinnati, Ohio. There are two races - the 5K and the 10K and you can get the 2010 Flying Pig Marathon results later on after the race is completed.

It’s raining runners as the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon starts at 6:30 am on May 2nd, 2010. This is actually said to be the 3rd largest (first time) marathon in the country. Running has been quite a fad and no one is complaining since this promotes a fit lifestyle and is good for everyone.

The Flying Pig Marathon winners are Brian List, of Milford, who has won the men’s division and Cynthia Arnold , who has won the women’s division. Tilahun Abebe finished second in the men’s division, while Rob Moorwood finished third. Ben Foley and Leslie Kraus, both of Cincinnati, are the winners of the men's and women’s divisions of the 2010 Flying Pig Half Marathon.
