The unnamed woman who accused the Steelers quarterback of sexual assault told police she tried to get away from Roethlisberger in a Milledgeville bar, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. She also said Roethlisberger came at her with his genitals exposed. "I told him it wasn't OK; no, we don't need to do this, and I proceeded to get up and try to leave," the accuser said in a written statement. "I went to the first door I saw, which happened to be the bathroom, and shut the door behind him. I still said no, this is not OK, and he then had sex with me. He said it was OK. He then left without saying anything."

No charges were filed against Roethlisberger, who has denied committing any criminal action. Attorney Lee Parks said the accuser has quit school and is seeking therapy because of the incident.

Police officer was report Milledgeville police Chief Woodrow Blue confirmed that Sgt. Jerry Blash has left the force. A friend of the accuser told investigators that it seemed at first that Mr. Blash was not going to take a report on the incident the night it occurred. She said Mr. Blash then said he would but noted that Mr. Roethlisberger has wealth and access to lawyers and that they would be wasting their time. One of the quarterback's bodyguards also quoted Mr. Blash as making derogatory comments about the accuser.
