The state Department of Transportation will start paving the Downtown Connector tonight, closing four of the northbound lanes between the North Avenue exit and the Brookwood split starting at 9 p.m. The popular annual Inman Park Spring Festival and Tour of Homes is likely to clog the Downtown Connector and side roads that funnel into the historic neighborhood.
The dates of the Annual Inman Park Spring Festival and Tour of Homes is April 24-25, 2010. The historic Inman Park was founded in 1889 in the city’s oldest suburb. The festival is sponsored by the Inman Park Neighborhood Association (IPNA) – the non-profit association established in the 1970s.
